A clearer, more careful WTMemory.
Free inspection stays useful. Existing Pro licenses carry forward. Eligible returning users can choose a fresh seven-day preview.
A new native workspace
Overview, Storage, Running Apps, Automation and Activity replace the cramped Inspector and catch-all More menu. Clear explanations, direct navigation and local results make actions easier to understand. Colorful menu shortcuts provide reviewed Deep Clean, Clear Inactive Memory, saved cleanup and a compact TCP port review. Start at Login defaults to on for this release and is controlled from Settings. Quit Other Apps is back as a confirmed normal-quit action that preserves protection.
Reviewed cleanup
- Nothing is selected automatically. Confirm each cleanup before files move to Trash.
- Archives, Docker VM data, workspace databases and uncertain leftovers are excluded.
- Execution validates supported paths, rejects symlink redirection, and deduplicates overlapping selections.
- Failed items remain visible. Cancel between operations; partial scans are labelled.
- Saved selections, exclusions and local activity history make repeat cleanup easier.
App control and permissions
- Protection applies to app actions. A normal quit is confirmed and never escalates automatically to force quit.
- Developer processes are reviewed individually.
- Daily scans remind you to review; no background deletion or app killing.
- Admin-only memory purge is an optional, explained action in Settings.
License and update reliability
- Saved paid access survives temporary license-service failures.
- Deactivation only clears local state after server confirmation.
- New update indicators remain visible even when notifications are denied.
